Exposition « Celtique ? » : de la partialité à la post-vérité ?

The text criticises the exhibition ‘Celtic?’ at the Musée de Bretagne (2022), accusing it of ideological manipulation under the guise of questioning. According to the author, it presents a partial and biased view of Celtic identity, deliberately obscuring scientific work establishing cultural and linguistic continuities. Several warnings have been issued, notably by Alan Stivell, researchers and associations, but they have hardly been relayed by the media or institutions, which downplay the problem. The author criticises this approach, which stigmatises Breton identity, denies historical complexity (notably the role of French nationalism in the use of Celtic identity), and artificially opposes material and immaterial culture. He calls for a genuine scientific debate, honest contextualisation and collective vigilance, pointing out that widespread ignorance of Celtic culture makes the public particularly vulnerable to such manipulation.
