Pensées indociles – Ronan Le Coadic

About

A propos de Ronan Le Coadic

As a sociologist, I have always been interested in minority languages and cultures and their relationship with political power. As a professor (now emeritus), I have devoted most of my research to Brittany, national minorities, protest movements, migration, and nationalism.

My observation is as follows: ideas that deviate from the dominant narratives—those that come from the margins, particularly from minority peoples—too often remain confined to small circles. However, far from being secondary, they raise essential questions for thinking about authentic democracy.

I have compiled my publications here to further the debate, exchange perspectives, and fuel discussion. I advocate a critical and rigorous approach that rejects simplifications and seeks to highlight what those in power often prefer to ignore.
